Having come up with the name RABBIT, and created the overall brand identity for Rabbit Chat & Date, the key project was to apply it to the digital television service design; the place where consumers would ultimately experience it.
I had specifically chosen colours for the brand which were present in the “DAVIC palette” defined for the UK specification of MHEG-5 digital terrestrial television authoring, and used these to strongest effect in planning out a high impact layout that had very clear areas for text messaging, promotions, T&Cs and MMS content.
Functionality was kept minimal and logical, and the design was re-applied to different “rooms” for different kinds of chat, such as “gay” subject matter, or “soaps & tv”, which were simply defined by different colour planning but to all the same core brand identity principles.
