Vroom Relaunches Bigger Better MotoGPBrits Webzine

The 2011 MotoGP season is upon us, kicking off this weekend with the Qatar GP under floodlights at Losail, and looks to be not only another great year for the Spaniards (as with 2010) but also the Brits – with a terrific roster of talent in all categories. Because of this Vroom Media has been involved in a substantial overhauling and expansion of the MotoGPBrits website.

Working with Simona Vogel, Editor of Vroom Magazine, we have retained all existing content, media and archiving, and have expanded the site into a fully-blown webzine which has the look of a broadsheet newspaper its front page split out into the MotoGP, Moto2 and 125cc categories, plus a high impact “featured content” slider, advertising inventory, content tagging and news feeds from the Official MotoGP website.
The styling of the broadsheet format is completed with clean sans serif bodycopy, serif headlines in Palatino, and a bespoke gothic-inspired masthead logo, designed to reinforce the British newspaper feel.

The website will follow the fortunes of all the British riders in all the categories: Cal Crutchlow in MotoGP, Scott Redding, Kev Coghlan and Bradley Smith in Moto2, and Danny Webb, Danny Kent, Harry Stafford and Taylor Mackenzie in 125cc. MotoGPBrits will also cover the feeder series, the Red Bull Rookies Cup.

As with other MotoGP and motorsport websites built by Vroom Media, it has been designed and built from the ground up with all the best social, sharing and SEO systems in place and can also be followed directly on Twitter via @MotoGPBrits.
